jobs. and both governor romney and i agree we should lower our tax rate. it's too high. there is a difference on how we would do it. i want to close loopholes that allow companies to duct expenses when they move to china, that allow them to profit offshore. and not have to get taxed so they have tax advantages offshore. all of those changes would make a difference. governor romney wants to expand those tax breaks. one of his big ideas when it comes to corporate tax reform would be to say if you invest overseas, you make profits overseas, you don't have to pay u.s. taxes. of course, if you are a small business, mom and pop business, or a big business, you have to pay a reduced rate even that governor romney is talking about, and it's estimated that will create 800 million new jobs. problem is, they'll be in china, or india, or germany. that's not the way we'll create jobs here. the way we'll create jobs here, not just create our jobs, but double our exports. we are on pace to double our exports. creating tens of thousands of jobs across the country. that's why we kept on

research center survey showing mitt romney leading president obama 49-45 in a national head-to-head matchup. that's among likely voters, people who are most committed to participating in the november 6 election. but gallup has a different result in the daily tracking report. according to the seven-day rolling average, the president leads mitt romney 50 to 45. that is among registered voters. good news for the romney campaign in the state of michigan meanwhile. president obama was leading by ten points last month. according to the detroit free press, after the debate, same poll has the president's lead down to three points. that is within the margin of error. perhaps the biggest gain for the romney campaign comes from that pugh survey which shows republican candidate making huge gains with women voters. he's now tied with the president according to pugh. 47-47. just a month ago, the president had an 18-point lead in this poll among women voters. today mr. romney rallies voters in iowa a day after delivering what his campaign called a major foreign policy address. speaking to an audience of c

"usa today" gallup poll shows growing momentum for mitt romney in the key battleground states, including ohio, florida, and virginia. the poll has romney pulling ahead by four points among likely voters. 50% to 46%. this is obviously a big shift. it's only one poll. but perhaps the bigger take away from this poll and some others is how the candidates are ranking among likely woman voters in those battleground states. we've heard an awful lot about the gender gap since the primary season, but among likely female voters in swing states, mitt romney's pulling almost even with the president. 48% to 49%, among male voters in the swing states, romney has an eight-point lead over the president. mark, let's start with you. you're reporting right now that senior democratic officials are starting to talk to you about real concern about the possibility of a buckeye state slipping away from the obama campaign. of course, you talk to democrats, mark, and they'll tell you they're always overly concerned. the polls still show barack obama well ahead. but they're starting to see florida defin
